7th May 2019

Autism Awareness Workshop for Counsellors and Listening Professionals

Do your staff members often find themselves in a listening role with people with autism? If so they might benefit from a greater understanding of how autism affects people's lives and particularly:

  • how the physical daily environment changes experience for people with autism
  • how communication is often challenging, and
  • what helps people with autism thrive!

The workshop will run from 11.15 am to 5.15 pm on Thursday 6th June at Plymouth MIND and will offer strategies and skills which can be put into practice immediately. Interested? Places are limited, so email Janet now on janet@workingwellwithautism.org or call her on 01752 283953 to hear about Early Bird discounts and other information. Click here for our course flyer.
